Kayla and Zach have known each other for a long time, but they ended up meeting back up after a hiatus at the gym. Once they met back up, they have been inseparable since. They had their first date at local restaurant Cheddars, which fun fact: its one of Lauren and I's favorite places to eat as well! Zach knew Kayla was the one. So much so that when he proposed he took Kayla on a long hike through 10 waterfalls in Stroudsburg. The last and furthest of the waterfalls was called Bridal Veil Falls!
Kayla and Zach like to go to the movies, golf, work-out, landscaping, swimming, playing with their dog Axle and traveling. So we found it fitting to do their beach engagement session at sunset here in Lewes Delaware. The backdrops are incredibly scenic and colorful. What makes this beach engagement unique is that we took photos with the lifeguards chair. Kayla and Zach didn't seem to mind even though Lauren was the bad influence with the idea! After pictures with the chair, we decided to head towards the water where the Delaware Sunset was. We got an amazing dip shot, but Zach had to coach Kayla. It was the funniest thing ever!
I love the way Zach looks at Kayla. It's a-lot like I look at my wife Lauren. He's not afraid to laugh and enjoy his time with her. Even if it means coaching Kayla to trust him when they are doing the dip pose. They are the sweetest couple. Here's a few more images from their wonderful beach engagement session at Delaware sunset.
How beautiful are these beach engagement photos at sunset? I can't even with these two. They have so much love between them! We look forward to photographing Kayla and Zach's wedding this fall at Castle Farm in Snow Hill, Maryland of the Eastern Shore.
