Originally, the session was scheduled to take place outside on the lacrosse field. The idea was to photograph the seniors in full uniform with the stadium behind them — a classic sports media day setup.

However, when we arrived, the wind had other plans.

Anyone who has photographed athletes outdoors knows that strong wind can make lighting setups unpredictable and hair impossible to control. After a quick discussion, we made the call to move the session indoors.

And honestly?

It turned out to be the perfect decision.

Moving inside allowed us to create clean, dramatic portraits that really focused on the athletes themselves.

No distractions.

No chaotic backgrounds.

Just powerful images celebrating their senior season.

Celebrating the Senior Players

One important detail about this session is that it was focused exclusively on the senior players.

Senior year in sports carries a unique energy.

For many of these athletes, this season represents:
