What can I say; Laura and Harley were so fun to photograph at Georgetown Circle in Sussex County Delaware. I remember before their session we talked about how they love to joke around a-lot. And boy, did they ever! Not only that, but Laura is quick witted as is Harley. They are my tribe. They know how to take a joke and can dish it back. I knew Laura many years ago, it was awesome to meet back up with her and having the honor to take these engagement pictures at the Georgetown Circle, was such a treat!
One of Harley's favorite things to do is play pool. Especially if he's winning! Laura plays pool with him as well. Harley actually proposed during their 8 ball league night at Tom's Bull Pen in Dover! Laura says he kept acting funny and kissing her all the time and professing his love to her and then finally proposed. She cried as she said yes! They were surrounded by friends who recorded the whole thing too. How cute!
When planning the engagement session, I wanted to do something that had charm and character. Laura and Harley live close to Seaford, so we agreed on Georgetown Circle. There is a bunch of historical places in the area, vintage brick, nice benches, and a wonderful water fountain in the middle of the circle. You know we had to get engagement photos with that!
After we explored Georgetown Circle, we headed to the beach where we took even more photos, and those beach sunsets never disappoint! We had a fun time with all the art and unique looks we could create once the sun dropped
